I’m so sorry this post is a little late (or rather the photo). I painted my nails about a week ago and never took a picture until now. I got the design idea from cutepolish on YouTube. Here are the colors I used:
Hook and Line by China Glaze (Limited Edition from The Hunger Games collection)
Moody Blues by Ulta
Sun-Sational by Ulta
(no top coat was used)
I was pretty surprised that I was able to create straight lines on both hands without the use of a dotting tool or special brushes. I really liked wearing this design but I think the next time I paint my nails it’ll just be one color.
::Less is More ::
It seems as if the temperatures are going nowhere but up. Throughout the day, I would wipe the areas around my nose and forehead to rid of sweat. When I did this, I would also wipe away any makeup in those areas. I would come home with smeared eyeliner and a slightly oily complexion. Every day I spend about 15 minutes doing my makeup and it just seems like that time and effort went to waste. But I recently saw pictures of Emma Stone with simple and beautiful makeup that really drew attention to her eyes. In an attempt to copy her look, I discovered that less is truly more when it comes to makeup.

Here’s my first look for you all! This past weekend I attended a wedding and this was my outfit. These items are a little pricier than what I usually pay, but I don’t mind spending a few extra bucks for something nice. I got the dress while I was in NYC. I absolutely love the criss-cross design on the shoulder and the noticeable side zipper (not pictured) and the green accessories add a nice pop to the black and white.
